The National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW) has long been known as a group that takes a prominent role in political advocacy. The late former CEO Dirk Van Dongen, a prolific GOP fundraiser and coalition builder known for helping drive landmark tax reform and tax cut bills, had run the group since 1979.
